U5 Program – Offered in spring only, this league is geared to get the kids started on the right (or left) foot!

 

House League (U6-U8 Recreational) – This is a recreational league composed of all same gender teams. It is called “House” because it is run internally within the club and all games are played in Canton versus other Canton teams.

 

Academy (U6-U8) – The Academy has two separate divisions; the “Program” and the “League.” The “Program is designed to provide additional training from our Select/Premier coaching staff in coordination with playing on their House (or recreational) team. The League consists of U8 teams only that have gone through a placement process. They are not “tryouts” even though they take place during our Select/Premier Tryouts which always begin on June 15th of every year.

 

GLSL (U9-U19 Recreational) – The GLSL (or Great Lakes Soccer League) provides an excellent atmosphere for the non Select/Premier player. These teams will play other teams from surrounding cities and all home games in Canton (about ½ the games).

 

 

The Select and Premier programs are designed for the dedicated, year-round, soccer player. Tryouts for these teams will always take place on June 15^th of every year and will play in one of the following leagues:

 

WSSL – “Whistle” is the Select/Premier league for U9-U12 and certain Select teams U13 and above.  Visit the WSSL web site at www.wsslsoccer.org for more information on the league. 

 

Premier (MSPSP) – The “Premier” league is for U13’s and above, and plays in the MSPSP (Michigan State Premier Soccer Program).  For more information ont he MSPSP, visit www.mspsl.org.

 

 

The CSC offers several different leagues for adults:

 

Sunday Recreational League – plays every Sunday night in Canton. This is a “relaxed” league that doesn’t have referee’s and provides a great place for a “kick-around.” This league is primarily men, but several ladies do play.

 

Women’s Adult League (GLWSL) – Canton has several women’s teams that belong to the Great Lakes Womens Soccer League. The GLWSL provides teams in several age groups and skill levels.  For more information on this league, visit www.glwsl.net.
